Patrick's Pics
We thought you'd enjoy some photos that Patrick has sent us of his life in Nepal. One is a photo of his lodgings, you can just see the house behind the palm trees. The mountains behind it are Fishtail on the left and Annapurna on the right. Fishtail looks higher because it is closer. Patrick is living on the campus of the Forestry Institute just outside the town of Pokhara, a great place to go to see the mountains from your hotel. There's a lake, in which we would swim when we went to visit. Somewhere in the vicinity Patrick took this picture of a water buffalo. Each year there is a festival in the spring when everyone can play holi. They get to throw colored powder and water at anyone they want. The third picture shows one participant, namely Patrick.
